Administration Assistant – Newcastle West NSW

Do you have excellent computing and writing skills? Looking to build some skills and re-enter the workforce? This role will not only provide opportunity to develop skills but after 3 months you can also get assistance with compiling your resume, a reference and interview skills.

A volunteer administrative assistant is required for two days a week. This role involves maintaining and developing Outlook contact mailing lists and volunteer rosters, as well as collecting research data/statistics; assisting to manage admin activities for the Timebanking program; attend expos to promote HVC and volunteering; drafting content for website stories and reports.

It is essential that volunteers have strong skills in using Office programs (Outlook, Word and Excel), excellent writing skills and ability to navigate websites and conduct online research.

This role is available Monday to Thursdays 10:30 – 3:00pm and would suit a mum/dad wanting to get back into the workforce, a student wanting to demonstrate their skills to a potential employer or anyone else interested in these hours.
