Meet our 2014 Pageant Princess – Nicole
Nicole is a Member Service Consultant at our Salisbury Branch and has been working at Beyond Bank for nearly three years. She’s been portraying princesses for a while now as part of the cosplay (costume play) community and will now be able to use her experience to help bring the magic of Christmas to Adelaide and to people who can’t make the event!
What does Christmas mean to you?
Christmas is my favourite time of the year. It means I get to spend time with my whole family. The magic of Christmas is one of my favourite things – I love the movies, and the dream of a white Christmas.
What does the Credit Union Christmas Pageant mean to you?
The Christmas Pageant has always been my favourite time of year because it means Christmas is close! I have very distinct memories of it as a child, and even as an adult I still love watching it.
Why do you think the Credit Union Christmas Pageant continues to be loved after 80+ years?
I think the Pageant continues to be loved after so long because it brings everyone together, it doesn’t matter what race, religion, whether you believe in Santa or not, together because it is such a special and unique event for South Australia. Everyone can forget any problems they have and just enjoy the Pageant and see how happy it makes everyone.
Nicole looks forward to representing Beyond Bank as a Princess in the Credit Union Christmas Pageant on Saturday 8 November!
