Woden Valley Festival Promotional Support Role – Woden Valley ACT
A marketing and promotional volunteer is needed to develop and implement the promotional plan in the lead up to the Woden Valley festival on the 7th and 8th of November 2014.
The Woden Valley Community Festival is an annual celebration of the people, businesses, groups and organisations of the Woden Valley, hosted by Woden Community Service (WCS). The festival is in its seventh year and consists of two parts – LiftOff, a youth festival on the evening of 7 November and the Festival, on 8 November 2014 at Eddison Park.
The volunteer role is develop and implement a promotional plan leading up to the festival including generating content for digital/social media and poster/flyer design. The goal is to ensure as many people know about the event and have an opportunity to get involved in the day.
This position requires a commitment of approximately five hours a week with an increase in hours closer to the even.
Suited to people aged 18 years and over with project management skills; good communication skills; problem solving skills and a proven ability to generate content for social media and print media.
