Boutique Assistant – Greenway ACT
Would you like to help men and women in need look great and feel confident for that new job or job interview?
Communities at Works Social Programs provide immediate assistance to vulnerable and disadvantaged people experiencing hardship and empower people to create better futures.
For many disadvantaged men and women who are unemployed, on low incomes or who have experienced a life changing event, it can be a real struggle to meet the cost of suitable clothing for the next job interview or to commence new employment.
Communities at Work’s Clothing Program provides those in need with free clothing, shoes and accessories for job interviews, work experience or other special events.
This is suited to people aged 18 years and over with experience and/or a strong interest in fashion; a great eye for what clothing styles work for different women; good communication and sewing skills.
Hours are flexible, however we mainly require volunteers on Fridays.
