Volunteer Heritage Guide – Fremantle WA
The Fremantle Volunteer Heritage Guides Association are seeking friendly and outgoing volunteers to join their team in welcoming visitors to the oldest public building in WA – The Fremantle Roundhouse.
This volunteer role is very interesting and involves telling visitors to The Fremantle Roundhouse the history of the buildings and the surrounding area. Volunteers also have the opportunity to be a part of the re-enactment of the firing of the cannon daily, and involved with events and other celebratory occasions throughout the year.
This role is best suited for people aged over 18 years with an interest in local history. Volunteers are required for 5 hour shifts on either a weekly or fortnightly basis. Uniforms and reimbursement for tea/coffee is provided per shift.
