Perth Hubs for Entrepreneurs to grow

Recently, we launched our Community Entrepreneur Program, a program supported and funded by the Beyond Bank Foundation. Twice a year, entrepreneurs can apply for a business grant that will help them grow their business ideas and create good outcomes that will benefit the local community.

It’s our way of supporting the fast changing economic environment in Western Australia and encouraging future generations to seek opportunities to innovate and improve our future.

Two fantastic hubs that support up and coming entrepreneurs are open in Western Australia and encourage like-minded entrepreneurs to come and share the space and ideas, and to be part of this growing and inspiring community initiative.

The BloomLab at St Cat’s is a collaboration between St Catherine’s College, UWA and Bloom to provide a dedicated space for young, innovative entrepreneurs to create, network and change the world.

The space provides young people with the infrastructure, support and engagement needed to inspire and grow their ventures. Mark and Magnus, the founding directors of Bloom, say: “We want to create a culture of ‘flearning’ – or learning through failing – where young people can start their ventures in a safe environment, where it is okay to fail and where they can learn valuable lessons that can lead to them disrupting the way that the world works.”

Spacecubed is a 1000 square metre entrepreneurial hub in the heart of the Perth CBD, where teams and individuals can grow their businesses in a supportive, collaborative environment. These spaces have been co-designed with their members – a mix of entrepreneurs, innovators and change makers who want to get their idea off the ground. To reduce this barrier they offer a range of work spaces, meeting rooms, events and collaboration opportunities.

Spacecubed facilitates a diverse mix of social, environmental, technology and creative entrepreneurs. There is also a range of small businesses, consultants, corporates, government and not-for-profit members. At it’s core, Spacecubed is about increasing opportunities for collaboration and innovation across different industries.

Spacecubed encourages anyone interested in joining their community, to check out their membership options or attend their open house every Friday.

Together Spacecubed and BloomLab have forged a partnership to create a clear path for Western Australian entrepreneurs to develop their ideas further into global success, with the support of mentoring from industry experts, peer support and ongoing learnings from programs.
