Thank you from Guide Dogs SA

Guide Dogs SA is one of seventy South Australian charities to receive a share of more than $300,000 in Beyond Bank’s annual Community Rewards.

The money is made available through a unique savings account that allows people to nominate a community group to receive an annual donation.

It’s a really innovative way to fundraise that doesn’t cost you anything but makes a real difference to the bottom line of not for profit organisations.

In the 13 years since the account’s inception, we’ve distributed close to $2 million across its national network.

We received this “thank you” message from our great friends at Guide Dogs SA:

Guide Dogs SA is touched by the generosity of the community and Beyond Bank in contributing $8,593 through the Community Awards accounts.

Guide Dogs SA through its services provides independence, safety and inclusion to people living with disability.

It costs more than $30,000 to raise and train a Guide Dog, and the organisation relies on the generosity of the community for support.

Through the Community Rewards Accounts, South Australians and Beyond Bank are ensuring we build a caring community – it’s one of the reasons we choose to live and work in South Australia.

We care for each other.

So, think about opening a Community Reward Account, choose your favourite charity or community group and start saving. It’s a great way to contribute to your community and really is the other way to bank.
