Epic Delivery

Epic Delivery – we deliver virtually anything!

Epic Delivery is a small tech company in Western Australia that received a $20,000 grant in 2015 from the Beyond Bank Australia Community Entrepreneur Program, and has used the money to build a business that has revolutionised Perth’s delivery service.

Budding entrepreneur, Ryan O’Sullivan identified a gap in the city’s courier market and started Epic Delivery, a business that provides express delivery of purchases via a mobile phone app that enables users to request virtually anything they want. The app links the customer to their network of on demand runners, with the delivery completed within an hour.

We caught up with Ryan recently to get an update on how things are going.

“Since receiving the grant from Beyond Bank last year, things have progressed extremely fast for us at Epic Delivery.

With the help of the funds and support we received, we were able to hire another developer and further progress the features and functionality of our platform.

We have now performed hundreds of deliveries all across Perth, from gourmet burgers to doughnuts, through to the latest hardback novels and even pet food!

And though we enjoy being able to offer the delivery of virtually anything to our customers, it seems the majority of people simply want to indulge in the huge variety of food Perth has to offer, from restaurants that don’t currently deliver.

More recently, through the growth and demand we’ve received for our service, we have been able to extend our delivery areas by over 100%, now servicing a total of 38 suburbs in and around Perth.

We have also began rolling out our Merchant Partner program, where businesses of all types and sizes can tap into our fleet of On-Demand Runners and deliver their products to customers in minutes.

We’re really excited about the future and Beyond Bank’s Community Entrepreneur Program has helped support us during a time where a start-up such as ours really needed it.”
