2016 Road Raise for CanTeen
National Community Development and Sponsorship Manager Shane Farley and Board member Steve Nolis can normally be found in suit and ties but next month this is what they will be wearing as they ride the 1000km from Adelaide to Melbourne in the 2016 DBH Road Raise.
The challenge raises much needed funds for CanTeen which supports young people affected by cancer in their families.
This is the second time the event has been held and it has already raised more than $250,000!
Shane and Steve came up with the concept two years ago over a cup of coffee.Who would have thought it could develop into such a incredible event?
It’s even caught the eye of Rio Olympian and world champion Matt Glaetzer who has decided to join the group although we have a feeling he might be a little more prepared than the rest!
Well done guys for going beyond.
