Ken has been involved in many charity fund-raising events over the years and came up with the idea for a family friendly outdoor cinema which would be run by volunteers. From the very start Ken was strong on the belief that all the profits would be donated to charities that assist children in need.
From a very early age, Ken was a stutterer and understands the challenges in life associated with a health or physical disability. He sees Telethon Community Cinemas as being a vehicle to help children to overcome the challenges they face, just as he did. Anyone can make a difference. The important thing is recognising you can and doing something about it. Become a volunteer and help the cinemas – visit Telethon Community Cinemas to find out more.
