Thank you for making us Bank of the Year!

Beyond Bank is delighted to advise that it has been awarded Australia’s Bank of the Year for 2020.

The top honour was announced in the prestigious annual Customer Satisfaction Awards held by Roy Morgan, Australia’s largest independent research company.

The awards, determined by extensive tracking of customer behaviour and measuring key criteria based upon engagement, loyalty and advocacy, cover 40 award categories with Beyond Bank coming out on top in the Bank of the Year award category.

“To win an award of this calibre is so exciting for us because it is decided by our customers, no one else,” said Mr Nick May, General Manager Customer Experience, Beyond Bank.

“As a customer-owned bank, one of the largest in Australia, it shows that our customers think we are getting it right and delivering the sort of banking products and services that they require to manage their household finances.

Importantly too, the award comes at a time of incredible challenge for everyone, with the pandemic demonstrating the critical need for banking to be a trusted and reliable essential service and we are so proud that we were able to deliver that service to our customers.”

The award caps off a stellar year for Beyond Bank which has also received top commendations from Mozo (People’s Choice Awards for Outstanding Customer Satisfaction and Most Recommended), Forbes (Top 5 World’s Best Banks for 2021) and Canstar (Customer Owned Bank of the Year – Mobile and Online Banking Award) – the latter, for the sixth year running.

“Awards are a wonderful acknowledgment for our hard-working staff who deserve every possible praise for going about their job of changing lives for our customers and their local communities,” said Mr May.

“And, to our customers, thank you again for making us number one, it’s an honour and a privilege.”
