Cooking Class Co-facilitator – Woden ACT
Do you have a love for cooking food and are interested in becoming a co-facilitator of a cooking class?
Local Area Coordination is a community service for people living with disability which runs six week cooking classes quarterly for their clients. Cooking Class Co-facilitators run the classes, helping participants plan a six week course menu, follow a recipe each week, eat together and clean the kitchen afterwards. The classes are informal and are designed to promote self confidence and healthy eating.
Volunteers should be aged 18 years and over, be friendly, with a responsible attitude and be available from 10:00am – 1pm Wednesdays.
Volunteers are provided with lunch will be provided.
