Do you love the outdoors and helping out a great cause?
The Operation Flinders Challenge is being held on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th of October in 2014.
This challenge is an endurance event which offers the choice of up to 100km distances to tackle in teams of two, three or four and will be the biggest fundraising event for Operation Flinders in 2014.
We are seeking volunteers to manage the various ‘checkpoints’ as teams pass through as they make their way along the trail. Volunteer duties at checkpoints include assisting set up and dismantling of checkpoints (marquees), electronic scanning of participants as they progress through the checkpoints, keeping food & water supplies topped up for teams as they pass through and communicating to the event HQ via radio.
We need 2 volunteers per shift at the following locations
Checkpoint 6 – Rocky Creek Hut, Razorback Road, Kuitpo Forest, Meadows
Saturday – 3pm – 10pm
Saturday – 9.30pm – 7.30am
Sunday – 7am – 1pm
Checkpoint 7 – Stagecoach Lane, Kuitpo Forest, Kangarilla
Saturday – 4pm – 8pm
Saturday – 7.30pm – 1am
Sunday – 12.30am – 8.30am

Operation Flinders will provide all the necessary stores and equipment for the checkpoints. Further details and a briefing for the volunteers will be included to assist them in their roles.
