GiveAbility Day Assistants – Various SA
Planning on shopping at one of Adelaide’s Westfield Shopping Centres on Saturday 5th July 2014? Why not give a couple of hours to help raise money for deaf and hearing impaired children on Saturday July 5th 2014.
The Cora Barclay Centre, which provides services to children who are deaf or hearing impaired and their families has once again partnered with Westfield SA to raise money for a desperately needed Resource Library at the Centre.
Many deaf people never learn to read past the age of an 8 year old. Poor literacy has devastating long-term impact on learning and employment and we are determined that this will change. The Early Intervention Therapy and Literacy Centre will provide a state of the art library storage facility built into the current roof area.
Volunteers will assist with collection stalls in Westfield Shopping Centres (Marion, Tea Tree Plaza, West Lakes) on Saturday 5th July.
No requirements other than the desire to help a worthy cause and a sunny, outgoing personality. The more volunteers the merrier so grab a friend and come along!
Suitable for volunteers aged 18 years and over.
