Research Assistants – Various Canberra
The National Capital Authority is seeking Research Volunteers to join their team and contribute to exciting projects through their library and museum collections as well as cultural heritage projects.
Research Volunteers are allocated a major project which may involve working with library collections, archives, museum collections, researching projects for exhibitions and public enquiries and even conservation duties. Previous projects have involved the creation of a replica 1910 dress, researching international Carillons, Blundells Cottage research and much more.
Volunteers involved in research projects receive on the job training and ongoing professional development.
Volunteers should be able to commit to 8 hours a month for a minimum of 12 months.
This role is suited to people aged 18 years and over willing to undergo a National Police Check.
