Riverlights Multicultural Festival – Maitland NSW
The 3rd Annual Riverlights Multicultural Festival celebrates cultural diversity through food, music, dance and interactive experiences.
Held in the Maitland riverside precinct, the event transforms it’s temporary home – Maitland’s Riverside Car Park – into a global village with a range of nations represented through interactive Cultural Villages, where visitors can see, taste, feel and experience different cultures. Each visitor to Riverlights receives a free Cultural Passport, a printed passport style booklet in which you can collect stamps from each Cultural Village you visit.
Riverlights is a family friendly, alcohol free, community event, running from 3.00pm to 10.00pm, Saturday 11 October 2014. This is a ONE-OFF event.
Riverlights requires volunteers to assist with the smooth running of the festival. Various tasks allocated including setting up stalls, providing info to the public, ground maintenance and general support as needed. Volunteers are need to cover three shifts 10am – 3pm, 2:30pm – 8pm or 6:30pm – 11:30pm.
