Riding for the Disabled Volunteers – Wagga Wagga NSW
RDA provides horse riding and carriage driving lessons for people with disabilities and we cannot operate without our wonderful volunteers who range from the age of 12 and up!
All training is provided at 2 training days held through the year, as well as on-going training from our coaches and staff.
Volunteers take many forms, and although most of our volunteers participate in horse related lessons, many others help in other ways. The Op-shop welcomes new faces, and our beautiful grounds reflect the work of others. There is also a catering committee, that provides food at functions throughout the region, and they welcome any contributions of food, time etc.
Saturday volunteering is the domain of our fantastic Youthgroup. This is a team of young people, aged between 12 and 18, that volunteer their time and energy EVERY Saturday through term time.
