Mural Artists – South West WA
Are you a talented artist wishing to volunteer some of your time? We’ve got the role for you.
Baptistcare are looking for volunteers with art and design skills to help them create beautiful indoor murals for people affected by dementia to enjoy at their residential aged care facilities near Rockingham, Manjimup and Brookton.
Baptistcare want to provide the most comfortable, safe feeling environment that they can. The mural can help alleviate distress felt by dementia patients.
Volunteers are able to work on the mural over the course of several weeks or months based on their availability. Supplies for the mural can be provided based on what is needed.
This is a great creative project for artists wanting to try something new, or artistically talented individuals, families, groups of friends or school groups. Suitable for travelling or short term volunteers, volunteers with a disability and those with limited English or Centrelink requirements.
Volunteer applicants must be willing to consent to a National Police Clearance screening, undertaken by Baptistcare, and be willing to sign a Statutory Declaration and Confidentiality Agreement
