Royal Adelaide Show Booth Volunteer – Wayville SA

Is the Royal Show your favourite time of the year? Do you enjoy interacting with members of the public and helping a great cause? Then this volunteer role is for you!

The Royal Society for the Blind requires up to 15 volunteers from 4th to the 13th September to assist with our stall at the Royal Adelaide Show. The event is a great opportunity to meet new people, raise awareness for the RSB and there are always plenty of fun and laughter. We hope you can join us!

Volunteer tasks may include:

-Engaging with members of the public who visit the RSB stand

-Facilitating the purchase of merchandise and money handling

-Interacting with Yellow Brick Road participants

-Setup & pack up of the RSB stand

-Replenishing stock

At least one RSB Staff will be in attendance at every shift, along with 2-5 other staff or RSB volunteers. Shifts range from 3-5 hours in length, across all days. You will be provided with a ticket for entry and a set meal allowance (based on the day & time you are volunteering). RSB Guide Dogs in training are also in attendance at various times.

Suited to people aged 18 years and over, with a friendly nature and the ability to handle money.
