RDA 40yr Celebration

Wagga Riding for the Disabled celebrates 40 years

Thanks to the support of a dedicated committee and the tireless work of over 100 volunteers, Riding for the Disabled (RDA) Wagga Wagga has been able to provide a specialised support service to children living with disabilities in our community for 40 years. The programs at the Centre help develop the children’s confidence through working with horses.

If you would like to support RDA through our Community Reward Program, visit our website for more information on how to open a Community Reward Account.

RDA has been a registered recipient organisation in our Community Reward Program since 2002 and thanks to the supporters of this wonderful community organisation this year RDA received an annual bonus payment of over $9,274, bringing the total bonus payments received since 2002 to over $140,000. These much needed funds will go towards the Centre’s ever increasing running costs.

When we commenced our partnership with Beyond Bank I could not have imagined that we would receive such wonderful support. We are very grateful and would encourage other local organisations to get involved with Beyond Bank Australia’s community programs. The support we have received from Beyond Bank has enabled our staff and volunteers to halve the time normally dedicated to fundraising efforts and get on with the important work of providing a valuable community program. Bev Amery, President of Riding for the Disabled Wagga Wagga.
