Introducing Beyond Finance Manager
As you may be aware, we launched a new Internet Banking system for our members earlier this year, and most recently have launched a brand spanking new mobile app for both Apple and Android devices.
We have just released our newest changes to Internet Banking! Beyond Finance Manager will allow you to see where you are spending your money, when you are spending your money, and allow you to categorise your transactions so that the graphs presented are more relevant to you!
By default, Beyond Finance Manager enables you to see your budget visually within Internet Banking using categories such as:
- Rent & bills
- Eating out
- Insurance and more!
As you can see in the below example, this account, in the first three weeks of September had a total of $1657.41 leave the account. You can also see that some of those funds were categorised as spending, others as Essentials, and some remain uncategorised.
All of the uncategorised debits can be manually categorised – And you can save that categorisation for that transaction type moving forward, and for any other transfers of that type that have occurred from your account.
The categories that you can apply to your transactions are as follows:
For example – We buy LOADS of board games in our house – these appeared as uncategorised, so we moved them over to Spending, under Entertainment. This allows us to keep our board game addiction in check at a glance!

On top of categorisation, you can compare what you have spent this month, compared to last month (or compare previous months):
This can be especially useful if you are trying to keep an eye on your spending, or want to work out which months you generally spend the most (eg months with regular bills, lots of birthdays etc).
