Our Hunter community branch of the year has this year set a benchmark for the importance of teamwork. While the branch houses only a small team their passion and dedication to their community makes up for their stature.
This year the dedicated staff have taken a team approach and together have brainstormed creative ways to educate their valued customers about our community rewards program. As a result, the team has managed to open 82 community rewards accounts which have all contributed to increasing the amount of financial support we are able to offer to community groups who are registered recipients of our community rewards program.
Our Kurri staff have been strong representatives for Beyond Bank as part of our volunteering program with the team having a representative from their branch at most of our community events across the year. This includes getting hands-on with wildlife during the school holidays at Hunter Wetlands, supporting friends of palliative care with their fundraising event, organising and working at Hunter Homeless Connect day, supporting Hunter Melanoma foundation with collections and fundraising events and offering support to Kurri Kurri Rugby League. This is in addition to the many additional hours Kurri team members have given to their community in their personal volunteering endeavours.
Congratulations to our staff from the Kurri Kurri branch – Hunter’s community branch of the year for 2018.
