How to apply for a Beyond Bank Car Loan.

1. Check eligibility

To take out a Beyond Bank Car Loan, you must be:

  • 18 years or over
  • an Australian citizen, permanent Australian resident, or hold a valid visa.

2. Prepare documents

Have the following information handy:

  • proof of income – either directly paid to your Beyond Bank account for at least 3 months or your 2 most recent pay slips
  • bank statements for any accounts, loans, credit cards, or investments held with another financial institution
  • information on any other liabilities – for example, any debt from buy now, pay later services
  • your employment details for the last two years
  • your Australian driver’s licence.

3. Apply online or visit a branch

You can apply online or at a branch. If everything looks good, you’ll receive pre-approval (valid for 120 days with the Low Rate Car Loan or 60 days with the Flexi Car Loan).

For final approval on the loan, we’ll need the following documents.

  • If you’re buying from a dealer or auction, you’ll need to supply a dealer’s tax invoice or contract of sale
  • If you're buying privately, you'll need to provide the registration papers.

We’ll then email you to confirm your application has been approved, along with a contract for you to review and accept. Once accepted, we’ll transfer the loan funds to the seller.

If you choose to borrow more than the value of your new car, we’ll transfer the remaining value of the loan into your nominated account.
