When to deregister:
- When you replace your mobile device and no longer need to access the mobile banking app on the old device
- When you factory-reset your mobile device, and re-install the mobile banking app.
Why deregister?
- All registered devices will receive notifications and alerts, so avoid other people receiving notifications about your banking activity
- Keep the number of registered devices as low as possible to reduce the risk of unauthorised access.
Steps to deregister in the app:
- In the main navigation menu: Settings > My Devices
- Select the device you wish to remove
- Select “Deregister device” button.
