Beyond Bank is excited to announce the extension of our partnership with Hoops Capital, the basketball enterprise that owns the Sydney Kings and Sydney Flames.
As we enter the fourth year of our partnership for the 2025-26 season, we are stepping up our community collaboration with the launch of the Beyond Basketball School Program, an exciting new initiative aimed at inspiring students through specialised clinics across 15 different schools in the Greater Sydney region.
The Beyond Basketball School Program includes on-court skills sessions and off-court motivational talks from Kings and Flames players, where students can hear firsthand about the players' personal stories, challenges and highlights of their journeys to becoming professional athletes.
“We're thrilled to continue our partnership with the Sydney Kings and Flames, especially as it aligns with our shared commitment to community engagement and supporting local communities across NSW," said Peter Rutter, Beyond Bank's Chief Community and Strategy Officer.
Hoops Capital's Chief Commercial Officer, Amanda Farag, was pleased to build on our connection to our shared communities through the continuing partnership of our two businesses.
"This partnership continues to grow each year, as shown by the implementation of our exciting Beyond Basketball School Program, which will see our Kings and Flames players visit numerous schools in the Greater Sydney region,” said Amanda.
"To tie in our organisation's evolving community section with one of our major partners is special and highlights our combined values of growing basketball around NSW."
