With the cost of living rising, more families in Canberra are struggling to afford everyday essentials like rent, groceries and utilities. For many, that means cutting back on food or skipping meals altogether—something that’s increasingly affecting working families, not just those traditionally seen as vulnerable.

That’s where your impact comes in.

Through our 2026 Double Donation campaign, the Beyond Bank Foundation matched community fundraising efforts up to $10,000, helping Woden Community Service raise almost $25,000 to support people experiencing financial hardship.

As a result, more than 1,300 Canberra households will receive fresh, refrigerated meals this year, providing reliable access to nutritious food when it’s needed most.

But the impact goes beyond meals. Improved food security helps reduce financial stress, support better health, and build resilience for individuals and families doing it tough. In turn, this strengthens communities by helping people stay connected to work, education and everyday life.

And it’s all made possible because you bank with us.

Every year, we contribute a share of our profits to the Beyond Bank Foundation to support initiatives like Double Donation, amplifying the impact of community organisations and helping create better lives for people across Australia.
