For many women and young people, homelessness means more than losing a place to live. It means losing safety, stability and connection.

Domestic or family violence, financial insecurity, or the breakdown of support networks can quickly leave people without a safe place to turn. In these moments, when they need stability most, basics like having somewhere to sleep, food on the plate, even just some sense of security, can feel uncertain.

Through our 2026 Double Donation campaign, the Beyond Bank Foundation matched community fundraising efforts up to $10,000, helping StreetSmart Australia raise more than $40,000.

These funds are already making a real difference on the ground. Helping provide emergency accommodation, meals and household essentials like bedding and groceries.

Just as importantly, this support goes beyond responding to the immediate crisis and helps people secure or maintain safe housing. That way, they have the foundation they need to rebuild their lives by reconnecting with schools, engaging with employment and community and working toward greater independence.

Because you bank with Beyond Bank, this impact is possible. Together, we’re helping people move from crisis to stability and building stronger, more resilient communities for the future.
