Every day, thousands of Australians reach out for help during moments of overwhelming distress. Mental health challenges, financial pressure and loneliness are leaving many unsure where to turn—and too often, facing their toughest moments alone.

Thanks to your support, more of those calls are now being answered.

As part of our 2026 Double Donation campaign, Lifeline Narrm raised $20,000 with the support of member and community donations and matching contributions up to $10,000 from the Beyond Bank Foundation to amplify the impact.

This funding will directly increase the capacity of the 13 11 14 crisis line, funding two additional trained volunteers, and ultimately, leading to more people receiving timely help when they need it most.

In real terms, this equates to around 513 more calls answered, which means more life‑saving conversations for people in crisis.

Over time, this support helps build stronger, more connected communities. When people can access help earlier, they’re more likely to have better long-term outcomes and seek support again in the future, breaking cycles of isolation and distress.

Because when people are heard, supported and connected, entire communities become more resilient.

And it’s only possible because of you. Every time you choose to bank with Beyond Bank, you’re helping invest in initiatives like this, ensuring fewer people face their darkest moments alone and more Australians can find support when it matters most.
