Day 13: Set up a savings hack.

This is your 13th challenge so hopefully you’ve got some idea of how much you can afford to save now.

But on top of that, there’s also some sneaky little ways to save a few extra dollars.

Cash may be on the out, but loads of people still use the old “coin in a jar”.  And jars with spare change are always a great visual reminder of what you’re working towards (if you’ve got little ones, get them involved too).

If you use cash, that’s great. Just wash your hands after touching it. (You know, Covid and all that.)

But if you think cash is old-school, there are still some neat little savings tricks to help you get ahead.

Round2Save is a genius hack (developed by Beyond Bank, obviously) that rounds up each Visa Debit Card transaction to the nearest dollar and pays the difference into your account.

Alternatively, you can use our savings bingo cards, which allow you to save little amounts here and there, to give you a nice little jackpot for Christmas.
