$640,000 donated to local clubs and causes through our community reward payments.

Thanks to supporters of over 400 grassroots groups, clubs and charities across Australia, Beyond Bank has donated over $640,000 in community reward payments for the 2019/2020 financial year.

The money was raised through the Community Reward Account, a Beyond Bank savings account which allows supporters to nominate their favourite charity or local club to receive a percentage of their annual average balance from Beyond Bank.

“Our Community Reward Account is an innovative and easy way of fundraising that allows supporters to financially support their local community group or club without any cost to them,” said Kylie Daniels, Senior Community Development Manager of Beyond Bank.

Due to increasing awareness of this savings account from community groups and their supporters, Beyond Bank’s donations to charities of all sizes through this program has been on a steady rise, amounting to more than $3 million nationally over the past 13 years.

“Giving, as you know, is a very important part of our business, so we are thrilled at the way this account continues to resonate with our customers,” said Kylie.

Another way Beyond Bank builds sustainability through community programs and partnerships is through the Beyond Bank Foundation which is funded by an annual contribution from the bank’s profits. Since it was established in 2007, the Beyond Bank Foundation has contributed more than $25 million across a range of causes such as housing affordability, aged care, disability and financial wellbeing.
